Natural Running – Small Group
Description
This is 90 minute Natural Running training for 4-10 clients. The cost of this training is 50% the cost of one-on-one instruction.
The cost is per runner. The exact amount of time this takes depends on the size of the group and the facilities available for the training. Ideal location and conditions are a large grassy field and fair weather where people can be comfortably barefoot is ideal. Clients should wear whatever running shoes they are comfortable in but there WILL be time spent barefoot.
Coach D will discuss and demonstrate:
– The history of natural running
– The reason natural running is important to health and sports performance
– Species specific adaptations for natural running
– How natural running affects the structures of the foot and lower leg
– What types of footwear allow the natural running process
– How natural running can repair or prevent issues like plantar fasciitis
– Natural running technique with progressions
– How to train to regain natural running ability
– Basic and advanced natural running drills
– Any specific concerns or questions clients might have about natural running
A warm-up, intermediate-level workout and stretching session are included.
